I thought i had this thing licked, but obviously not.    I posted on here about 3 months ago and got some good advice followed it and thought i had it licked but after the valk was sitting for 5 days (rain) its dead again.  will hold a charge when i jump it and run it for 20 min
its a slow drain because i can charge the battery going around the hood, and it lasts for 2 days or so but then nothing not even clicking

any help where to look for the drain would be great

ok this is theeasyest way to find a draw on your batt.
1) get a testlight
2) disconect the neg post of the batt and install the testlight between the cable and the neg post (it will light up if there is a draw)
3) pull the fuses one at a time to see if the light goes out,i would start with the fuseable link for the alt.

Have you added any electrical items just before this happened?

If so, start with them.......

You know, I agree with all this but I want to add, that if the drain is slight it's possible that the test light will not light up enough to see it. I'd suggest using a volt/ohm meter and set a scale low enough to see any current passing.

Ricky-D is on the right track, but you need an amp meter or a multi-meter with amperage capability.  Put the amp meter in series with the battery with the ignition key in the off position.  You should not draw more than 200ma.  If you do, remove one fuse at a time until you find the offending circuit.  Cry
