Cross-posting to the national board

Guys and gals, I was talking with a customer at work and she told me this story about a patient they are taking care of and this story made me mad.  The government is royally screwing this wounded warrior and he is trying to feed himself and his family by selling his possessions and raffling off his motorcycle, it's a Honda so it is almost Valk related now.

The Jeremy Gittens Story
http://bethimey.blogspot.com/

This website was created and is maintained by Beth, the nurse that is trying to help Jeremy out.  The raffle is being held by another vet that is trying to help out also.  I tested the system by visiting the website, clicking the PayPal link, donating $50 dollars and waited for the raffle ticket to arrive in the mail before I made this post.  I believe this raffle is completely legitimate.  Any amount of donation will be appreciated but for every $50 donated you will receive a raffle ticket for Jeremy’s Fury until 300 tickets have been sold.

Only 3200 miles

I suggest if you feel the urge to help this veteran make your PayPal donation a gift because he needs the money more than PayPal needs their cut.

FYI – I have no skin in this game, I do not know Jeremy and only know his story because I happened to see the raffle page on Beth’s desktop.

Got my tickets too.  What can I say, it's for a good cause and the bike is the right color.
