Our December meeting will be at Fuddruckers in Grapevine, Grapevine Mills Mall location. This will be our Christmas meeting/celebration. Please bring one wrapped gift, value under $10, to participate in the White Elephant gift exchange. It should be motorcycle related (you can figure out the relationship - as long as it makes sense to you, it will make sense to us). Our dinner will be at 7 and the gift exchange at 8pm.

Have you been shopping for your White Elephant Exchange gift yet? Re-gifting works for this type of event as well. If you have some bling you bought but never used, that would work, too.

Was gonna try to get there in time (thursday is one of my late nights in the clinic) then this little girl came in with a fractured tailbone. Was trying to get her stable for the evening so we can repair it today. Did not get off "work" til 7:30. Hope ya'll had a great time. L

We had a nice meeting. Fuddruckers has great burgers. After eating, Wanderereereerereer (Jeff) presented the club with the 4th place award for fundraising for the Ride for Kids. The group voted to have Jeff present it to Al Lamb, our sponsor dealer, for display at the dealership.
Disco gave a ride report on the Ride to Strawn that Captain Speedo led in November, then RainMaker gave a report on the Celebration of Life he and TJ attended for Matt "Hoghead" Holmes in Hawkins.
Then, we discussed future rides. Due to the fine football games going on (especially on January 4th) we decided to move the Polar Bear ride to January 5th. Ride destination to be determined but it will be one of the shorter rides due to weather unpredictability at that time of year.
Meeting over, we started the party. Everyone who brought a gift was given a ticket, and the tickets drawn randomly to determine who picked first, second, etc. WDAN drew 1st blood and open his gift, which was promptly stolen by the 2nd ticket person. Then Dan got another gift, opened it and had it stolen by the next person. This happened up until Dan could steal back one of the gifts he wanted (magnetic tray and tools) and was happy. Lots of neat gifts for under $10 given and everyone had fun. We then had 2 door prizes - a micrometer and a 2013 Valkyrie Calendar. Disco or Valkpilot won the micrometer (too many Daves) and PlaneCrazyGirl won the calendar. The calendar has Lazerpat's Valkyrie Tourer on front and in March, the bumblebee of Disco. There are other Texas bikes in there as well. Great as Christmas gifts. (The calendars are still available from the VRCC, by the way. End of commercial).
We adjourned at 9:00 and left a mess for the Fuddrucker's crew.

Jackie - we discussed moving the Polar Bear run to Jan 5th to avoid football related issues and to put it on a Saturday. I don't recall that we specified any other dates except the next meeting, which will be Jan 10th.
