Riders  -

I recently added Kuryakyn ISO Wings Rider Pegs to my IS (looks great! cooldude).  However, I noticed that the pegs have raised my foot postion (slightly) and the distance between the shifter and pegs seems tight.  Would like to hear from others if they have had similar problems.  In past postings, I thought I read where some have mod by added a kickshifter and lowering the pegs.

Welcome any and all responses.

Thanks, Juan

I have those pegs on my I/S.  I also have the Rattlebars Peg Relocation kit.  So they are dropped down 1 inch and forward an inch.  I did have to make some adjustments to the shifter.  If you get up under there you will see 2 places where you can make adjustments.

I have these and used Rattlebars lowering kit to raise the kickshifter.  Works like a charm.

Looking to add the iso wings to replace factory drivers pegs. 98 Tourer.  Appears I will need the drop down mount rom Rattlebar? After that they will just bolt on or is there more to it than that?

Well I guess Rattlebar is gone. Will the iso wings just replace the oem pegs, or do I need an adapter of some kind?

Yes, this is an old thread. Many of the links from years ago don't work anymore, since the original Valkyrie isn't too current anymore. There are other options for many things, though. One of our members here, MarkT, has a business called Horseapple Ranch (one of the site sponsors). He is well known for his custom exhausts, but he also supplies other Valk parts, including peg relocation kits and jack adapters. I've purchased from him, and have nothing but good things to say about it. His site (not everything is listed; send him an email or PM here): http://www.horseapple.com/index.htm

As for adding Kuryakyn pegs, you'll need adapters to mount to your factory brackets. The Iso Wings use tapered adapters, and part number 7946 Is the one for rider pegs on the 97-03 Valk. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003O6XCF2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thank you Oil burner. I am familiar.with Mark T. Have his lift adapter and soon his exhaust. Was hoping for a simple install of the pegs but can figure out what adapter i need.
Waiting on a reply from Kuryakyn.

If you go here to Kuryakyn's page for the Iso Wing mini boards https://www.kuryakyn.com/products/600/iso-wing-mini-boards, right under the description paragraph, you'll see "Model specific tapered adapters available HERE". The "HERE" is a link, which will bring you here https://www.kuryakyn.com/products/1597/tapered-peg-adapters. If you scroll down, you'll see that 7946 is the adapter you need. So, buy the mini boards without adapters, since the only ones with built-in adapters are Harley specific, and buy the 7946 tapered adapters to mount them to the Valk.
