I rode my 99 IS to a dealer to get it to run better......4 days later I hauled it home in a trailer because it would not run AT ALL!!!! The tag from the dealer on my key is dated in the 5th month this year. After several questions about carbs , & researching hydrolock & petcocks....& advice & support from this forum It's running well in fact I don't think it EVER ran this good!As far as I am concerned if I need as LITTLE AS 1 JET ...i need ALL jets o-rings needle valves & whatever else will r&r ... Thanks to all....OOOOO! I almost forgot also thanks to my new best friend , DOZER who made 2 house calls to my house along with his vacume gauges ,foreceps, torque wrenches & plug gauges....how could it not run?

i paid them $750.00 a few months prior of May for a carb job & it ran better but not really like it did back in the day & it kept getting worse.....so I took it back in May this year..they wanted to redo the carbs for $750 more..No,they only had it 4 days & wanted to do carbs again so i picked it up.It's been in my garage since then while I whinned & procrastnated...building courage to remove the carbs

Did you never consider a regime of fuel additives?
