98 Tourer
Turn on switch, press starter button, headlight dims and nothing. Not turning over. Battery checks ok. No drop in voltage when starter button is pressed. Any suggestions on what's going on and how to fix it?
Thanks,
AJ
Edit... I finally found the previous threads addressing this issue. Looks like everything has been covered, several times. Smiley

Right now,, it sounds like the starter switch.. In shop talk are directions on cleaning it.. Its somewhat a common problem..

Well guys, I appreciate all the help and all the previous threads that helped me along the way.
The articles described my problem to a "T" and the follow ups provided a solution.
And , I now have a very clean starter switch.
What more could you ask for?
Well, for starters MAKE SURE IT IS IN NEUTRAL when attempting to start the bike!!     uglystupid2
