Did two rides this weekend and there were only two Valkyries on each ride.Saturday's ride was for the Sunshine Kids organization. A whole lot of Harleys showed up in San Marcos from a couple of different clubs to give the kids a ride through the Devil's Backbone...two Valks showed up as well. Big Iron rode in from San Antonio to make up half of the Valkyrie contingency and actually got a Sunshine Kid rider. I was not so furtunate, but had a great time participating.
Big Iron's Valk and mine at Gruene Harley Davidson Sunday's ride was instigated by San Antonio's Cycle Plex out on I-10 and de Zavala. From there we rode through Sisterdale, Luckenbach, Willow City, and Blanco. Lunch at Beefy's just south of Blanco on 281. Old Geezer and I had the only Valkyries. We did, however, out number Harleys two to one!
