Gotta be lost from the Houston area.  Only part of the state that gives me crap for being a Cowboy fan.  LOL

Honestly, I don't watch or support the Texans any longer...on direct order from Texans management.

For the record, I don't watch cowboy football anymore and hardly any other football either.  But, Romo is plenty good enough for the job.  He was a Parcells find.  The problem is that the much-vaunted (in his mind) GM can't assemble a team around his QB.

Yeah, we won't win until Jerry loosens the reins.

As far as the other, I've been a Cowboy fan since I was 8 years old and moving all over the country.  Growing up in the military and moving so much you TRY to support local teams, college and pro, but when the GM of a team tells you to quit pulling for his team because you "can't be a Cowboy fan and a Texans fan at the same time", well, who am I to argue with him and spend my money on "his" local team.

+1 on that one Brother Dave, started disliking the C-Boys right after he purchased the team then firing Tom Landry. Kind of like the Oakland Raiders GM firing a coach with a winning record and hiring a coach with no record.

I place the Cowboys (aka Dallas Convicts in an earlier carnation) in the same category as I do the "Tennessee Turncoats" -- no problem with the team, lots of problems with management.  It was a colossal shame to see the effect the loss of Landry had on the team -- once it was an honor to play for Dallas, even though they paid less than any other team.  OK, rephrase that, it was an honor to play for Landry.  He held them to high standards, AND managed to have a winning team.  Since then, well .......

I was a huge Oilers fan for many years.  In the lean years, I used to laugh and tell folks I was an Oilers fan, not a football fan, which worked out well since the Oilers weren't (then) playing "football".  My sister (a Cowboys supporter) once asked me how I could stick with them when they were playing so badly, I explained that "Fan" is short for "Fanatic."   Once the Cowboys ceased to be stellar, she abandoned them.  I, on the other hand, was abandoned by my Oilers.

I'm neither for nor against the Cowboys, or any other team (except Houston and Green Bay).  I have tunnel vision -- if they don't play for the Texans and have never played for the Texans, I don't know who they are.

Then again, I rarely even watch the Texans on TV, don't watch any other football on TV.  I love the excitement of the stadium.  But I will have the game on today, just because

We don't watch the games but we love the Cowboys.  Arlington's tax revenue has been higher than the surrounding communities since the stadium was built and our little company does a lot of work for Jerry World.

Even when the NFL season is over, there's always something going on at the stadium.

Great to see the Texans doing so well.  Maybe in a few years the Cowboys will improve enough so that we have an all Texas super bowl.  This year, maybe we'll have a half Texas super bowl.
