I've seen this question asked and lots of pictures but I've yet to see a clear answer...

Is there a wiring diagram somewhere on how to wire an aftermarket power amp to the stock Interstate radio wiring???

Do I use the stock speaker wires for amplifier inputs???

thx guys...

If your aftermarket amp has a HI LEVEL input, you can just use the speaker wires as a input.....start with the volume on minimum.

Your power amp should come with instructions. Mine (Pyle waterproof marine amp) says to set the input switch to 'speaker' if using speaker wires or other hi power lines, like headphone wires for input and 'line' for line inputs.

My issue is with the rear speaker wires, which the Clymer guide shows in the wiring diagrams. I'll have to hunt for them, but I know they're there. Electrical Connections has a rear speaker wiring harness available with fader control.
