Front turn signals for the valk on ebay with a bargain price of $52.28 plus $15.66 shipping (total $67.94).  And the auction could go higher.  New at HDL is $66.80 plus $7.50 handling (total $74.30).

A savings of $6.36 (assuming the auction does not go higher) for a used vs. new item, have to bid and wait rather than simply purchase . . . .

Two weeks ago a used alternator cover brought $42.00 plus $13.95 shipping while HDL sells new for $34.37 (plus $7.50 handling).

Go figure.

Go to any auction you care to and you will see people bidding way over what something is worth new.

Especially estate sales, or these weekly Auction House sales.......

People do not know what something is worth, and if they want it bad enough, they will bid and get it.

Go to an Auto Auction, (Dealers) and 99.9% of the buyers are running around with NADA, Kelly Blue Book, or several other books giving a price of wholesale, vs retail prices, and they  use em faithfully, and bid accordingly..

There is a guy there now with a passenger backrest for an IS.  Wanted $100.  Costs less for a new one  Now listed at $90.
Oh well, if he finds a sucker, good for him.
