I left Africa on Saturday and arrived in London on Sunday.
Went to central London and had some fish and chips and an ice cream in front of the Tower of London.

Then I took a river cruise up the Thames...

Folks, I hate to say it, we had probably the best tour guide (come to find out, they are only crew members who do this on their own) that reminded me of Oss with a British accent - Bronx-British they both sounded funny to me.....

Best money I ever spent! Great tour and while we waited for a boat to leave the final dock, we got to see some great sights of Parliment and Big Ben.

Then I toured around and really wanted to see inside Westminster Abbey. Well, you can tour it except Sunday. I told the guard, "Damn, I will always come through on a Sunday!" He told me to go to the next gate and a guy with a red jacket would let me in. Cool! Get there and the guy in the red jacket also has a huge medal around his neck and I am escorted between a half dozen guys in the same thing.....It was that Church Services were about to begin and I was eventually escorted to my chair. FOLKS, THIS WAS MOST COOL!!!! Before Sunday, I could not say that I had ever attended Church Services in Westminster Abbey - now I can (plus it saved me the 15 pound tour fee). It was the event called Evensong and is more Choir than ministry and the Choir was unreal!!!!!!! It has been done every day for more than 1000 years......UNREAL!!!! The service was nice but the choir was ......well, unreal.

I was put back near Poet's Corner of the Church. People are buried in the floors and the tombstones are there on the floor. My chair was on Charles Dickens and my feet were on Rudyard Kipling....Blew me away....
There was one ceromony where we stood when the priest left for a different area and I guess everyone else knew...I am checking out the tombstones on the floor, look up and everyone else has sat down except the dumb coonass in the back - at least the priest didn't yell that out to me!!!!!
This was the back gate that I went out of after services. Folks, if you are at Westminster any time around 3:00 pm, go.......the choir will blow you away!!!!!

Well, got up this morning.....ate a nice stack of blueberry/bannanna pancakes, coffee, cranberry juice and a couple of free roaming eggs and flew back to the GREAT US of A.

Got home about 7:00 pm and talked to JP and we are PUMPED! MAJOR PUMPED!!!!
THE MAGICAL HISTORY TOUR BEGINS DAY AFTER TOMORROW!!!! I gotta mow the grass, wash down Traveler, change the oil and pack up. JP was changing his rear tire and is already packed. We talked about leaving out Wednesday but I have to get some grass mowed....Man, we got two Cajun Boys gonna see some stuff they ain't never seen before.
Man, I know we are gonna see some stuff, enjoy some company (even if it is just ours) and if nothing else, I betcha we are gonna find some great places to eat!!!!
Billy and Wyatt are hitting the road again baby!!!!

Magical History Tour - Oh yeah Baby!!! Bring it - let's ride and learn!!!!!
