Are headers worth the expense of installing them on a Valkyrie , this comes with the cross over pipe
Between the headers. Do I need to reject the carbs? I have a set and I'm not sure if I want to
Install them on my Valkyrie , Thanks for your input.

Are they Two Brothers 6 into 2, Mark T's, or other?  Do you have pictures?

I don't believe re-jetting is necessary, but I'm not positive.  Hopefully someone else will chime in.  If re-jetting is not necessary, and you already have them, put them on and see if you like the sound.  If you like them, you're only out 6 exhaust gaskets.  If you don't like them, you're only out 12.

Put Cobra 6x6 on my son's valk.  Used Cobra re-jet kit and lost 10 mpg in doing so.  Pipes "sooted" up and got black inside.  Got rid of the jets, went back to standard settings and everything is fine.  MPG back where it should be.  Went from Cobra 6x6 with baffels on my valk to 6x6 shorties without baffels and did not change the carb settings at all.  I get about 32mpg on the phat girl.  And a great sound!
