OK, so for those who have done this before and for any and all "first timers" to this wonderful event, here are some ride times and locations to be aware of...

Like last year, the South Austin Riders Group (SARG) would like to meet-up with us VRCC folks in Bergheim at the Valero on the corner of 46 and 3351.  That way we can all ride in to Javelina Harley together.  This year the SARG folks have 27 riders (20 bikes) signed up!  We will be "hosting" our South Austin friends to the event from Bergheim into Boerne -- about 15 minutes away.

Particulars for New Year's Day morning:

Meet:  9:15 AM - at the Valero gas station in Bergheim at the corner of 46 and 3351

Kick Stands up:  9:30 AM - 9:45 AM

Arrive:  9:45 AM - 10:00 AM at Javelina Harley

Afterwards we'll take a leisurely Hill Country ride to Lunch at the Chess Club Cafe in Blanco.

Please contact me if you have any questions -- either through this site or call:  512-422-eight 6 three 6

Hope to see everyone there!

Charlie

Weather is looking pretty good for New Year's Day!

NOAA weather forecast says, "Partly sunny, with a high near 56. North wind 10 to 15 mph."

Sweet!

Looks like the Chess club Cafe will be closed this year, we'll have to punt. Sad

No worries, we have the Antler Cafe at HWY 46 and Sun Valley Drive just east of 281.  I believe we had our New Years Day meal there in 2010 when the Blessing of the Bikes was held in a Walmart parking Lot on the north side of San Antonio.
