Ducked a big storm on the way up to Wytheville... Robert and Glenda weren't so lucky...
They I got caught in this on Friday after I came down off of the Skyline drive, and
it stayed with me for a while on 81... many riders got caught in this...
Finally, on the way home it started pouring at Hendersonville, and poured cats and dogs
all the way to where 8 hits hwy 11 (30 miles, google says 40 minutes, I bet I wasn't
quite going the speed limit, so maybe longer)...
The Valkyrie takes pretty good care of you in the rain, I was soaked, but always felt
in control...
