Starting to get used to the new sound of Katrina. I rode her for 10k with open 6 into 6's. I liked. But was radical. Whole new sound for sure, still baldy enuff ! I know the neighbors r rejoicing ! Now I know why my fellow buds rap their bikes on start -up ,,, to make sure they started !!!
Happy holidays all ! Mofla

SHOWING YOUR AGE I SAY YOU WILL TAKE THEM BACK OUT SOON, NEED THAT RUMBLE. THINKING ABOUT BUYING ME A SET, MABE IT WOULD SCARE THE DEER AWAY. SOUNDS LIKE I MIGHT HAVE MY BIKE READY FOR THE BLESSING OF THE BIKES, I HOPE cooldude

Given your current track record, it seems that the blessing would take precedence over the rumble.  Jus sayin.  Evil

Just my preference, no offense intended,  Mine aren't as loud as straight pipes, but they aren't whisper quiet.   Wink  Hoser

The first thing I did after buying my bike was get molded earplugs to combat the 2bros 6x6 pipes.  Next came unmolested Standard/Tourer pipes, then 18" glasspack mod, and finally unmolested IS pipes.

To me, the two things loud pipes are best for are 1) making me wish I was on a quiet bike, and 2) pissing non-biker people off.
