I love the look of velocity stacks and would like to ask: How hard to install and do they work good. Thanks for any information---Jeff

I don't actually have any but they're on my wish list. Not hard to
install on a std or tourer from what I've heard, little more of a pain
on an i/s. Just be sure to shim the front of your tank or they will/might
scratch it. Do they work good?!?!? Uh....yeah, they work great at
drawing attention! Grin

I put a set on my I/S, it took some work but they look GREAT. They don`t work at all, they are just for looks. cooldude

HDL has them now.  30 sets.  If interested, better get NOW.

I received mine from HDL about two weeks ago.  Right BEFORE the $30 price increase.  Oh yeah!

Had 'em on my standard, putting a set on the I/S.  They simply look too good.  Cool  Lots of people seemed surprised to learn they are completely non-functional, but as the previous post pointed out, they are quite functional at drawing attention.

Take a look at (big BF ) Site, has good write up and images on install for standard and tourer. there not hard to install . take your time ,maybe a hour or two tops. found when you remove chrome oem cover, hold down black plastic dome with your finger, and carefully install velocity stack back on in its place . this way you won't have to worry about the spring or rubber seal placement. it will make sense when you study the pictures...I think its the  best attention getter on the valk....

You won't regret these buy - once you are putting them on, why not change the springs with I/S springs for a slightly better throttle response ?
