It's a little chilly up here right now.  I suspect someone up north left the door open again.

Way too cold today 34° here in Humble. Looks like tomorrow might be pretty good if it doesn't rain I'll probably end up riding out to the border at Louisiana, maybe a little ways in up to sulfur or Lake Charles area pick up my kid and head back.

I took a short 10-15 miler just to see what it was like while it was snowing...

Was originally planning a 50-100 miler but decided that stuff wasn't much fun to ride it, but definitely clears the mind quickly! Kinda like a floating turd clears the swimming pool...

Plan to take a Boxing Day ride here in a bit.  32˚F off the back porch right now (10:00 AM).  Will probably head out around 1:00 PM-ish towards Luckenbach/Sisterdale area.

Yep...made my Annual Boxing day ride today despite the chili weather...

The ride was absolutely wonderful!  Purchased a couple of bottles of the Sister Creek Cabernet Sauvignon blend and then I modeled my new Biker Burka before heading out...

For some reason I did not see a single other motorcycle on the road today... ???

Saw one rider on a Goldwing Trike headed north on Hwy 69, north of Jacksonville. The wife and I went to Tyler to  pick up my project bike, a 2003 black Standard with a seezed engine and totally unkept. It's going to take a while. There was still plenty of snow on the ground and on cars, really cold.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.
