My son Aidan -- who is twelve -- outgrew his TTR90, so I had to get something bigger...

Found this '05 TTR125LE on Craig's List a few weeks ago.  I wanted something that Aidan would have a hard time tearing up because he needs to learn how to use a clutch.  (The TTR90 has a three speed transmission with an automatic clutch.)  The previous owner's son had outgrown this bike and it had been setting up for a while.  New tires as well as hand grips along with a little TLC and it was ready to go!

Yep...that clutch thingy ain't so easy...

But, it did not take long for him to get the hang of working the clutch and to start kicking up dust in the back yard...

(Don't worry, we wear all our gear -- ATGATT -- when we go trail riding.)

It won't be long 'til we'll be looking for a car for him to drive...
