well i finally did my first valve adjust on my 2000 fat girl I/S . man after doing all of my vtx1800 adjusting this was a breeze.  all was fine except #1'#3'#6 exhaust they were a little lose.
 all back together and no leaks. i did notice that the radiator was not tight to the frame is it supposed to move a little didn't see any where to tighten it up. cooldude

Just had my radiator off. Only way I can see to tighten is to replace the bushings. Only the top bolt (behind the fork-lock) holds it on, the other two pins had threads but no nuts. I think it's per-design.
Nuts there wouldn't tighten it and the right side would be nearly impossible to tighten anyway.

I'm with 97Valk--it's the design.  If the fit is really sloppy, new bushings are probably in order.

after i put the pods back on it helped quit a bit. it took about half the shake out of it
