The forecast for Friday night is dry and above freezing and Saturday's still says chilly and mostly sunny.  (Sure beats 105!)  So, let's gear up, go eat a warm breakfast, dip a toe in a lake, and take a leisurely and scenic ride north and east through horse country looping back toward the metromess in time for lunch at 1130-1200.

Meetup at the Prairie House Restaurant with full tanks at 0715.  They open for breakfast at 0730.  Menu

10001 Highway 380, Crossroads, TX  76227  Map

If you want to skip the breakfast portion of our day, meetup with full tanks at 0800-0815.  KSU will be at 0830 sharp.

Can I get a headcount started?  1 here.

Fine, I'll give my answer again, but rework is antithetical to lean principles.

I probably am out - Margaret still in recovery mode after hip surgery.  If I can get a "baby-sitter", will try.  So an unlikely maybe.

Yes, the forecast for Friday includes a chance for rain/snow in the morning, but the afternoon high should dry things out.  And although the Fri/Sat overnight may touch freezing, the streets should be dry and Saturday will be sunny and 53.  Beautiful riding weather!

Hi, Jean!   Smiley

Hey Paul, the high will be 53!   Wink

I just got of the phone with Disco . As of 7 pm he was stuck in traffic and the ride is still on! It just started raining here and if that doesn't freeze I see y'all in the morning for breakfast!

Randy did your heated gloves come in?

Weather dot com says it's 37, but the thermometer says 42.  High still forecast for mid-fifties.  Should be more solar than polar!
