I'm going to be installing a sending unit in a friend's I/S tank now mounted on his Tourer. I'd like to also mount a fuel gauge at the same time, preferably one that doesn't need special programming like my Auto Meter guage did. In reading the Motosens site, it appears their fuel gauge will work straight up. Have any of you used the Motosens fuel gauge and did you have to order it from Germany or is it available stateside?

Don't have a Motosen's fuel gauge (have their other stuff), but yes, they do work without modification with the Valkyrie sender... they are made for them.

The US distributor, Systron is based in Canada. What I did was order them online at their website, http://www.motosens.com/usa/idea.htm I don't think you pay at that time. The next day I got a phone call from the distributor who reviewed the order over the phone and I gave them my CC#. Bout 2 weeks later, gauges arrived.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot online. My buddy is coming in a week or two and I wanted to have everything available then.

Lethbridge? Five hours each way so a nice one day ride down and back!
