Today was one of those special days that I will remember for a long time, it was that good. Started of by getting up at 4 am so I could be on the road by 5 to meet the VRCC gang at the Prairie Road House on 380. It was about a 2:15 ride for me and I needed to get there by 7. This is what I saw when I arrived.

I made good time and got there before they opened. It didn't take long before Randy, Woody (in a car using the old starter relay excuse...too cold.. you get my point) and Disco showed up. By the time we got thru kicking tires the place opened up. VP was running a little late so we decided to go ahead and get ourselves settled in. Order some coffee and helped our friendly waitress (sorry forgot her name...)  to a proper start of her day! Sorry NO pictures. Wouldn't ya know it, as it turns out Woody turned 60 TODAY. Happy Birthday Woody. Woody didn't want to go on the Polar ride so he headed home after breakfast. VP took the lead and to us on our Polar ride and we ended up at this place.

Woody's new house! about 18 bike representing the VRCC, CMA and "fill in the blank Woody" getting ready for a surprise birthday party!
You can tell he is getting older because even-though we took the scenic route we still beat him home.

Here he is driving up.

You can hear him now!  Grin Grin

What a well executed surprise party complete with a bike to ride for Woody, a poker run, ride led by Disco and party at ??? in Plano, brother from St' Louis and the list goes on. cooldude cooldude

On my way back I stopped at Alvarado to check up on my youngest daughter how was competing at a horse show. She cleaned house and came home with a wheel barrow full of prices.

I know it doesn't have wheels but hey at least she is riding! crazy2

Made it home safe, fed the horses and rode about 419 smiles for the day.  cooldude

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Shocked Sorry y'all, please forgive for not taking the mandatory food and waitress picture! Maybe the others can chime in. I don't think they took any either.  Roll Eyes Grin

Great report, especially the horse part. Your daughter has a good hand, the horse is carrying his head really low and well collected. I hope you know what that means, LOL, is not ask your daughter. If you don't, at least you know how to feed.

Thanks for the compliment on my daughter,  cooldude Red Diamond. She is on that horse everyday, 7 days a week and now trying to teach other youngsters. Last year she became a world champion in Fort Worth at the APHA World Championship in July. We are very proud of her. And yes I know a little, .......very little anymore it seems about horse stuff. My little girl now teaches me  cooldude anymore.

Not even close on the IB, left at 5:00am am got home at 5:45pm and rode only 400+ miles. That's only 33 MPH on average. My moving avg was more like 54 Mph. That leaves some 5 hours for eating, kicking tire, telling lies, stirring up stuff and having a blast. Had to stop for gas only once! Evil
