Quick question. anybody know the size of the nut to unstack the clutch basket.? fixing to go buy one. either a 32 or 34 mm I think.

Well after all night looking i finally found it, if anyone wants to know it is a 46mm 12pt. deep sockect or you could use a 1 13/16 12pt. deep socket, no the hunt for one of these sockets!!!!

THat's the big nut that holds the outer drum to the engine shaft. THe nut I'm trying to removes is the one that holds the inner drum to the clutch pack. It's either a 32 or 34 mm I think, I had a 30mm too small and a 36mm too big. TIA

Looked in the tool chest and my past thread on my clutch removal and its a 32mm.

I ended up using a 6 point 1 1/4 in socket. I built a press on my work bench and broke it down today. After only 160,000 miles my rivets let go in the damper plate. All pieces were still in the fiction plate so no damage was done. If you have to do this job get a good quality set of snap ring pliers. The cheap mulit tip ones are junk. Waiting on parts now.
