Been looking for a nice set of chrome clutch and brake levers to add to the Valk over the winter months. Both the Hondaline and Kuryakyn levers are available but, at $70, the Hondaline is pretty expensive vs the Kuryakyn at about $35. Both get excellent reviews but I'm just not sure if the Hondaline is worth the extra price. I know the fit and finish would be exceptional with the Honda part but is it really that much better?

Anybody with experience with either, your input would be most welcome.

Thanks.

Kuryakyn makes very nice products. I would say it would be hard to go wrong with the Kuryakyn.  cooldude

I've had Kuryakins since '07. No problems and they feel great on the fingers.

I have the Kury adjustable levers for GL1800. They look good, feel solid and are adjustable so you don't have to reach so far to grab them. There is a little grinding (one tab and a base ring) but it takes like 3 minutes.

Non adjustable Kurys and i like them.  Wink They are wider and much easier to grip.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Ditto that.  Just put some on.  Chrome is fine and it's easy to use a finger or two on the brake.

I prefer the Big Bike version of either the adjustable or nonadjustable levers.  I have one of each and I really prefer the adjustable version.  The clutch lever has one appendage that needs to be removed, but that is no problem.  As far as I know everyone's version of the adjustable leaver will have to receive the same treatment...Jim  Smiley

Thanks for the info everyone – much appreciated! I was really expecting to see a few thumbs up for the Hondaline levers but it seems the Kuryakyn is pretty popular.

My stock levers seemed good-until i swapped them out for the Kurys. It's one of those items you kinda take fer granted until they are changed out. And i went with new mounting bolts for the new levers and a light coat of moly on the new bolts. A simple swap like that is another item that makes a good bike better.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.
