Being a fairly new phat girl rider and a self wrench turner, I would be interested in participating in a wrench party. Unfortunately I don't have the space or tools to support working on more than one bike at a time, but I do have PepsX stand and a Sears lift (the red and black one).

So, if someone is thinking about hosting a wrench party I'm in! I would like to hook up the gauges and sync the carbs (or check them) and pull the back end and check the state of the splines and properly lube them. If my lift or stand would come in handy I will volunteer to drop them off in advance so they can be used at said unplanned wrench party  cooldude

Thanks

It's about time we had one.

I'll look at the schedule and see about having one at my place soon.

Unfortunately, the pepsx stand wont work.

I've been very busy at work (good thing...) and haven't been around much. I'd be in for a wrench party. It'd be nice to see folks again.

If nothin comes up, it's over 50 outside and sunny, no o.t. offered, and wifey hasn't beaten me down to bad, I"m in..Valk is still running like a sewing machine though, so I"ll be watching and learning..again, I could do brake and clutch fluid changes, I reckon... Smiley

I can't plan on it for that weekend.  My plan is to be in Dripping Springs at the Wild Game Dinner.

I'll be outta town also.  But my jack and adapter are available for usage if needed.  Just let me know.  Though the jack leaks.  Maybe that will be my project.

Would the following weekend, Saturday, March 2, work better?

It would,  I was trying to figure out how I would be able to be in two places at once, wrench party and wild game dinner.

Works for me or whatever.
I need to change my air filter and, maybe, re-build petcock. I already have kit.

The concensus seems to be that March 2 would be a better day.  I didn't consider the conflict with the Mid-Winter Gathering when I threw the first date out there.

We'll plan on Saturday, March 2 for a wrench party at my place.

Details will dribble out before then...
