Strider and Hard 6 came through the hood today on " The Magical History Tour " .Lucky 13 , Big Al and I  rode over to Knoxville and had lunch with them at The Texas Roadhouse and then got in a short super slab run as they headed toward I-81 . When we split off I must admit I wanted to just keep on north bound with them... Ride Safe ...( Warren )  ( J.P. ) it was good seein' y'all again.

The following link is for Hatton's Ferry: http://www.hattonferry.org/

There is a phone number on the website that you can call to see if the ferry is running or not.

When we crossed the James River on the BRP today it was still running pretty high.

We went with a group there a couple of weeks ago.

The ferry was susposed to be open but when we got there it was closed due to high water.

Even if it is closed the ride over there and back is a good one.

I wanted to hook up with them but I didn't know that they were in Salem tonight.

I thought that they were susposed to be in Ashville, NC tonight.

If I had known that they were in Salem I would've tried to hook up with them tonight.

I've already committed to ride the BRP with Rick W. and a friend tomorrow.

Where does the history tour plan to be on Sunday?

I stopped at Lexington on the way back from Blue/Gray... went to Washington and Lee university,
VMI and Stonewall Jackson's house. And ate a bean and cheese quesadilla on the upstairs verandah
of an old house that is now a restaurant... Lots of good stuff in Lexington...
