OK.. while the bike is apart and the rear wheel is off... I pulled the rear rotor....  it has been giving me issues and I have been having VERY poor stopping power with the back brake.
The prev owner put EBC pads on the rear and they ATE up the rear rotor... I mean it had major gouges in it...I had replaced the pads with OEM honda, but the rotors just cut them up.
Mic'ed the rotor and it had enough meat to turn.  Took it to my auto parts place and asked them if they could turn it down...  NO way it would fit their machine......
   Told them 'I'll be back"
Went home and fab'ed an adapter plate that would mout the rotor to the turning machine.
Took it back, and they turned it ...NO PROBLEM!!!!
The rotor measured 7.82mm on the outside edge , where the pads don hit...  We took it down to 7.08mm to get a clean rotor.  Minimum on the rotor is 6mm... so I'm in good shape!!!!
Resurfaced the brake pads because they were tore up from the rotor.... Hopefully it will all work good when It comes back together!!!!
$275 for a new rotor....  $6.95 for bolts, and an hour to build an adapter plate to fix the old rotor.... seems like a good deal!!!!

It's available if ya need it....

I once lived next to a retired rice farmer. One of his favorite sayings was " cut your way in ,weld your way out". He said on some of the old farm equiptment ( combines)it was the only way to get to some of the broke parts. Mark you are a man of many talents.
