Okay InZane sign up is in full blown operation and I see we already have Kansas being well represented! So just some random thoughts I have been having about it.

I know know the Studebaker caravan is well into planning and some have discussed hooking up with them as well. I am kind of still thinking about a route and stops. Don't get me wrong we may end up following the caravan but I thought before I commit to that I would like to see what everyone else is thinking about.

Cyndi and I are looking at leaving Saturday, or maybe Friday if we have reason to. We want to be in LaCrosse by mid afternoon on the 14th. I enjoy helping set up or assisting with whatever the staff needs and helping with the early bird get together. Plus if it is really hot we slow down in the afternoons with more stops. In the past I have always planned on covering too many miles a day and we do not end up seeing anything really. I hope to change that this year, some how. So with that said what routes are people thinking about. Maybe meeting up on Saturday night at a "central" location would work for everyone.

Next thought is maybe having a work day either the end of June, or first part of July to work on bikes and make sure we are all road ready! Maybe we could grill some burgers and dogs. I know several of our members have nice shops, lifts, and tools so lets kick that around as well.

Thanks Dalen, for bring up the T-Shirts again. I am not sure what happened to the designs but I think it would be great if we could get this done and everyone had one to wear at InZane. I would like to try and get a picture of the Kansas group with EVERYONE this time, if we all had a shirt that would really be cool.

So chime in everyone!!

Hey what's wrong with a "caravan".  Besides I don't have to pack my bike  Cheesy

I made a post on the general board for saturday evening and then route for sunday morning.  Route to InZane is only 3 hrs but would give you time to enjoy the ride up the mississippi river.  It is a great journey.

Here is the total route that I had come up with.  Stops every 100 miles and would leave early saturday morning..  Early as in 6 or 7 am.

Saturday morning : http://goo.gl/maps/kr1xO

Sunday arrive at InZane: http://goo.gl/maps/0VAQ3

Here was my post on the general board:

Let me know what you think.  John this route gives us time to stop and sight see and to grab breakfast on I-35 in missouri is a pretty cool place to grab a bite to eat.   Pella has a really cool down town that we can stop at the bakery, and then off to Anamos,Ia for the National Motorcycle Museum and then dinner and night stay in Dubuque, Iowa.
