I just purchased a Rattlebars kickshifter. When I mounted it, the rear peg hits my Cobra Swept floorboards when you would be pushing down on it to shift.

Has anyone experienced this and found a solution or do I have to purchase different floorboards?

Thanks
Mike

OK, can anyone tell me what make of floorboards they are using with their kickshifter?

I (and many) use Cobra traditional/classic boards with the kickshifter with no clearance problem at all.  I think you just have to adjust the shifter mount on the spline one tooth or so (I think down, so the rear is a tad higher).  I do not use a peg lowering kit with this setup, some do.

Cobra swepts on the wife's Valk trike with the Rattlebars kicker. I think I did move the shifter down two or three splines, can't remember for sure how many.

It clears with no problem. I would check your install.

Sorry, the only picture I have of it that shows the boards and shifter, but gives you an idea how far the rear peg is away from the board:

I have the Rattlebar kickshifter with Cobra swept boards and the peg lowering kit. Works great.

Thanks all, you were all spot on with moving the shifter a few notches. Forgot that it could be moved.
