Miller Theater always puts on a great show, but I'll have to find something in Alabama.  I'll be there on the 4th.

How about something a little further away from Houston.  I DON'T LIKE DOWNTOWN!!!  I will stay home first.

We usually have a party here with fireworks(about $300-500 worth) but this year there is a burn ban, and hg wouldn't anyway cause it is soooooooo dry. Don't want to catch the pasture of fire. FB

We'll be in Leaky all week.  There's a rodeo, street dance (Friday), and an arts & crafts fair happening.  Should be fun! cooldude

Oh, and don't forget about the local scenery...just did a great ride this morning before it got too hot. Cool

We plan on going to the Rosenberg, TX celebration. It's located on Hwy 36 near the Fort Bend CO. fairgrounds. Parking is at the fairgrounds. The fireworks usually start around 9:00 PM. It's a great small town event with bands, food, carnival rides, etc. It's free admission.
