Anyone have pictures of tank emblems installed that would be good enough to aid in the positioning for new install?  Forgot to take pictures uglystupid2

F6 from the side.

(Sorry, the only one I have from the side has the house in the background).

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!

If you have new ones, they are contoured to the tank side, and will only fit exactly in one spot on the tank. Hoser

Blackduck, they are the European F6 emblems, same size and shape as the US F6.

39 Chev, That works. Looks like it's pretty well centered over the carb. slider cover.
(Your house is georgious)

Hoser, they are not brand new, but in like new condition and slightly bent from the PO removing them. I bought those bag guards we spoke of...perfect fit and can't tell the difference side by side OEM bag guards. Beautiful chrome new and shiny and half the price, thanks for the tip cooldude
Pics will follow soon, still working on tins.

Doug, when we got Iris's bike the PO had removed teh badges.  Like Hoser said it only fits in one spot.  I got some good 3M double sided tape from a local body shop and put it on the emblems.  Then moved them around until the laid down perfectly and marke the spot, took the backing off the tape and stuck them on.  After all you can only see one side at a time.  Cheesy

Go to the Harley Fairing install thread. He some good pics there. And yes they should be factory formed to only fit in one location as they slightly wrap around the front of the tank.

Some of those ebay guards went pretty cheap, i won a $217 dollar bid, did you get the ones that went for $175?  Hoser
