I called the oxford suits and they said that they don't have any rooms left.  Cry

So, I"ll find something, I'm not sure I want to stay with a light on all night.

There is no cover.... as a mater of fact, we don't charge for the BBQ..never have....  there is a donation jar, and any money that is over the cost of the food goes to the Texas Lions Camp for disabled children.  We have been donating the proceeds to the Lions Camp for the past several years, and there will be a silent auction and 50/50 drawing as a fund raiser for the camp.  The main thing is to come have a good time.... and have a chance to do something good for the kids.....  Pretty good deal!!!!  If anyone has an item they want to donate for the silent auction, that would be Great!!!!!

Should we make arrangements with ya' ahead of time or just show up with the item(s)? Nothing big, but while cleaning out the attic I found a box full of small die cast Valkyrie's, figured it wouldn't kill me to toss 1 or 2 of those into the auction, if there's any interest in 'em...

I will be changing jobs and do not know if I will get this time off or not.  If I can make it, I'll be there (with PlaneCrazy)  If I can't, she may just come up there without me  Cheesy   As stated on many occasions, it is amongst the most anticipated events of the year for us......

I have a few things to donate to the BBQ.  I have a Valk pin, two flag pins, a Honda spray polish, a can of spray carnuba polish, and a new oil filter.  Is there anyone in the Conroe or vicinity that could bring it and avoid the possible postal hazards of shipping liquids?

I could meet someone next week and hand them off.

HEY KIWI,  Can you fly the B-17 over the GOTF ?  Cool

Hmmmmm... we will be taking off from Hooks... ( unknown time at this time )....  then going north of Austin....  Depending on direction of take off and distance for whatever turn we need to make.....

I'll try to call someone when we leave if you want to watch for a big, 4 engine war plane flying???

 Roll Eyes

I'll post some pics when I get back.  Wife will try to take pics or video og the takeoff.

Everyone enjoy the BBQ... ( BTW, I have a couple more items for the party...  a couple B-17  shot classes. )
