If I'm reading the parts fiche correctly, the three final drive/rear wheel O rings are:

61x2
50.5x3.5
39.5x2.4

I know the 2nd number is the cross sectional diameter, but is the first number ID or OD?

Haven't pulled my rear wheel off for the year and want to have the O rings on hand when I do
the job. I have a source for the O Rings so I wouldn't be ordering from the Honda OEM numbers.

Thanks!

You can get 5 sets for a cheap price from Carolina Honda - I don't have the address but someone on this forum ought to have it real handy.

Hmmm, 5 sets would pretty much be a lifetime supply. Thanks, Ricky. I might just bite the bullet and order them. Getting back to my question, I could get them free at work---they don't care..They're in the drawers right in front of me..just needed to know if the sizes are ID or OD...it would make a difference. Smiley

Thanks for the reply...appreciate it.

Thanks Brian...if no one has old rings or a new set and a pair of calipers handy, I might just have
to order em.

Thanks, Pancho...ordered a set. I'll measure them when they come in to see if the listed dimensions are OD or ID.

After taking my old ones out, I'm pretty sure the measurements are ID.

Thanks. I also visited a web site specialising in O-rings and it stated that usually the dims are "inner diameter" in O-rings.

I used a real scientific method to determine. I brought O-rings home in both the ID and OD sizes.
When I took the old ones out, they matched up with the "bigger" ones(ID).  Cheesy
