There are some pretty decent new meds for folks that are hearing things.  Just let me know, I'll see if I can confiscate some of them for you. hehe. L

Will advise and publish the meeting location shortly.  Awaiting confirmation from our volunteer meeting coordinator for the month.

WOW!
We actually have a "volunteer meeting coordinator" in the club.  Any guesses who that might be?  Hmmm?

Pity the fool.

We've had quite a few.  These are members who arranged for our dinner meeting at the various venues since we left Grapevine.  The last was LemonDrop.  So I know who wanted to plan the meeting place this month but they are out of town until Monday.  As soon as I hear from them, we will send out the emails as to the location.

I would like to second that nomination.  Despite his driving the gold wing station wagon to a lot of events, Dave is a standup guy and would make a good President of the DFW VRCC.

I would like to nominate Sly as VP, but since she does not ride a Valk, the next best thang would obviously be someone that knows how to carry out her orders/wishes - Godfire!

Rainmaker, you sound like a member of the liberal media....shouldn’t  there be an election before the torch is passed?  Smiley

I was kinda wondering about that, myself.  Who's on the ballot?  Are they running or being drafted?  Have they produced a vault copy of their birth certificate to prove elligibility?  Where are the ayes and nayes?  What about the show of hands?  Slips of folded paper through the slot in a box?  Or is this one rigged, too?   Feels like there has been some "community organizing" going on.  police

I like to quote the inaugural speech of JFK and did not want to change the word from "has" to "will".

I wish nothing but the best of luck to all candidates, even if I do personally want to keep the Blues in a position of power.

Ask not, what the VRCC can do for you - ask what you can do for your VRCC.  (like Speedo said)

Vote and vote often.

All these sound effects! First it was crickets, now sounds of railroading?

If there is proxy voting I'll cast my votes for Dave and Jim.

Are there any other suckers... er... I mean... eligible participants in the running?

I may not be there until late, if at all.  Delivering a UNIT to College Station today (the ONLY day they could take it).  So, if they unload fast, I'll be there with the truck.  If not, have a good time.
