Never been but we are thinking about riding out there.
http://www.germanfest.net/home/
This three-day festival attracts thousands to mouthwatering German sausage, scrumptious apple strudel, hearty cheeses and homemade bread, cakes and pies. So, come to Muenster and let us be your host for food, fun and frolic. Be sure to bring a "guten apetit."

Plan to participate in one or more of our exciting activities. Events include a 5k and 15k Germanfest Fun Run, a Metric Century Bicycle Rally, a Sausage and Rib Cook-Off, and other assorted competitions.

Anyone ever been?

I went every year for many years and ran the 15K race and enjoyed the festivities after the race.
The German food and entertainment are great.
Had to quit racing after I ruptured a quad tendon in knee thanks to an SOB who pulled out in front of me while on my motorcycle.
I can't go this year, I have a conflict but highly recommend. i would go otherwise.
