I want to flush my cooling system good and was wondering what would be the best way to do it. Any help would be great.

I was going to refill with 50 distilled water and 50 anti freeze. I know some metals used in these motors can corrode if not serviced properly and I have used Cascade in my trucks from net recomendations in the past.

Again any help would be great.

My personal feelings are:  If you've not experienced over-heating problems, then just flush with good old water.  Then refill with a good 50/50 premixed "non-silicate" anti-freeze.  Take your time and insure that you get out all air pockets. I just "suck out" the reserve tank and refill it.  Take her out for a short run, return, cool and recheck for fullness.  I've used this method since '97 and for 263K and still have the original radiator.

It's cheap so use mineral free water. Tap water won't completely drain and you don't want to leave any calcium in the cooling system.
