My first posting so here goes_Many thanks to members for all the great tips I have spent a lot of time checking things out but need to knoe if running bike with no headers will do any harm as I need to get bike from shed into garage to put CHROME on as exhaust is at Mark Ts getting upgraded and snow is about gone-Thanks. ???

I assume it will not hurt to move it a short distance. I also assume she's gonna be crazy loud.

I think I wouldnt do it.  All you have to do is warp a valve and then you have a huge repair job and bill.  Maybe nothing would happen, I just wouldnt risk it.

I have never heard any engine run without an exhaust header, I wouldn't do it to my engine or lawn mower Smiley

Don't do it.
I once had to ride a Honda 450 with one exhaust pipe blown off the motor for about 20 miles.
Nice blue flame and some burnt valves from that deal.
