If you want to do it cheaply, you can try Walmart, about $20 or O'rielly's about $25 dollars. One is 55w's and the other 35w's, they can be seen a mile away. The P-clamps will cost you more than the lights.

Kuryakyn silver bullets light up the road really nice at night and increase visibility during the day. I mounted mine on the engine guard. Its like driving a car at night.

I put these on my engine guards and work well it does help for day time driving for drivers to see you. and wide light pattern for night. 55 watt h3 bulb. Got them from e-bay over 4 years ago not sure if I could find them again it was only 35 bucks with shipping and they came from Ohio or Indiana. Well made and no issues with chrome and you don.t have that off road look. Try a search you might find them.

I see a lot of riders with their lights mounted on their engine guards. I question this location being just fine for the highway but on the back roads the lights will follow the head light. I chose the light bar for the forks so the light is there when I need it. I have seen these used in conjunction with the light bar. This way you have the best of both worlds. I am still considering the engine guard for new LED's.

Make sure you use floods and not spots if mounting on the engine guard. The silver bullets are a flood light. They do light up both sides of the road .

Showchrome 3.5 inch, 55 watt, mounted with Kuryakyn magnum clamps. They are effective!  Smiley

Does anyone here have both light bar lights and engine guard lights?
Would our generator be able to handle the extra load?

Yep, and yep....mine seems to handle everything I've thrown at it.

My light bar is one from Big Bike Parts (Show Chrome) with Cobra driving lights on it......

http://cobrausa.com/access_detail.php?model_id=156&make_id=2&category_id=15&product_id=2531&model=VT1300CX%20Fury&product_type=Motorcycle%20Accessories&product_name=Spotlight%20Assembly%20w/Visor

My driving lights that I've got mounted to the crash bar are from Big Bike Parts also.......

http://www.bigbikeparts.com/Inventory/Navision/16-104A?catalogNo=1

They're mounted on the crash bar with Kury mounts.
