Bought the 11 dollar one form e-bay went to install to replace original one which I cleaned and greased up 3 years ago. Put new one in and turn key on nothing no power no lights dead. looked at my original one cleaned grease and dirt off and saw that the B and M on main wire hook up was reversed  so crossed my wires re hooked up and starter engaged said Bull crap removed, cleaned original and put it back in good to go. found these on amazon which one is correct. The one I put in is just like the first one from amazon.

Can't answer your question I bought the same one.
Took it out of the box but never tried it on the bike.

I seem to remember that you need to switch the terminals in the connector for our bikes...search through the tech archives and you should find the info you need.

Good luck.
