Been thinking (oh oh!), and I hope I don't step on any toes as far as planning.  But,  I know we have quite a few history buffs here, me included  cooldude

We would love to show you our world in the deep south, we have a few decent roads that won't rattle your teeth off, we can show you the Alligator farm, some awesome plantations, and some GREAT food.

I am thinking sometime in August, if anybody is interested I can get info on motel rates.

Alligator and Turtle Farm

Destrehan Plantation

Oak Alley Plantation

Nottoway Plantation

The plantation tours are real good, I've been to all of them, lots of information and good stories about the original owners.

Ponchatoula is a nice little town, we have our own mascot, Ol Hardhide the alligator, his cage is in the middle of downtown Ponch and there are antique stores if you are into that.

I guess the best thing would have to be the FOOD.  We know all the best places to eat  Grin

So, if anybody is interested, post here, or email me and I can start working on the details, if not, that's ok, too.

Oh, and I almost forgot, you might even catch a glimpse of Moonshine on her bike, Byrd, Magoo, Monte, Lee, Warlock, Cool Breeze, Pun and Sweet Tea, Charligirl and Big Hoss....and all the cool SE La/Ms folks   cooldude

If not too close to Inzane, I would love to come over for some more good Cajun vittles.  History is good too.
