I installed a new battery and now nothing when I push the starter button. Lights go on and dim when I push the starter button but no response from the starter. Checked cables. Positive terminal has battery cable plus blue wire. Negative has battery cable plus yellow wires. Am I forgetting something?  Also, can't get the green neutral light to engage now. I'm stumped as everything was working good before replacing the old battery. Checked all of the fuses.

Probably the first thing would be to check the battery is installed properly. Correct pole to correct pole.

Checking the kill switch and starting button would be a good place to start.

Then I'd take all the extra wires away from the battery and try that.

The headlights should go OUT, not dim. If they only dim, you have a connectivity issue.

New batteries need to be charged up with a trickle or smart charger before installing in the bike. Just because it's new doesn't mean it's fully charged. I have a feeling you need to do the starter button maintenance. Find it in Shop Talk section on the website.

Figured it out. Kickstand safety switch was the problem.
