Carquest - this is listed as a Moly Disulfide grease with graphite.  Will this work on the drive shaft??

Guard Dog Moly Lubricants (VRCC sponsor) makes a product that can be used for the entire drive line lubrication needs: Guard Dog 525 Moly grease. Always replace the three O-rings to ensure that the grease stays put.

The drive unit also needs to be drained and properly refilled with a good quality lubricant/dope.
I prefer a synthetic rather than a petroleum based dope.

Your link didn't work for me. If the grease is waterproof and has moly in it, it should be good for all the drive line needs. Some of us get pretty fussy about the wheel splines. The Guard Dog is great stuff but I think it has to be mail ordered. Bel Ray Grease is available everywhere. On the drive shaft I use valvoline Durablend grease with moly. Don't use Hondas moly paste unless you mix it with some waterproof grease.

I removed my shaft after 75,000+ miles. It looked like show room except for the crud on the end that was easily wiped off.  I removed the old stuff and put some Molly paste on it. I think the seals are most important instead of which grease to use.
