You should be able to find what you need here:

maybe someone that lives close to you could give you a hand.  What most people do is use the accessory fuse which comes on with the key to activate a relay which feeds an auxilliary fuse panel and feed the extra lighter sockets, lights, horns from that fuse panel.

Jim!!   Love the link... are those the standard connections for our "honda" motorcycle or is that for the "bmw"?   I am thinking of putting one on my bike.... what would you suggest or have you put one on before?  I was thinking of the fairing socket looks like a good spot to mount one and it will be camo'd pretty good there too....

Hey Joe, yes I ordered the "Cigar Socket Kit" and I did install it on my fairing (right side).  It works great, however be sure to order the "fused 60 inch lead" (I ordered one that was too short and had to add some wire).

I installed a few waterproof power outlets on my I/S that I got at WalMart or local PepBoys. One out from under the rear seat so the pass could use it, or I could put my cell phone, camera or whatever in the trunk and charge it from the power port.  The other one I zip tied to the handlebars, under the riser cap (you can't see the zip ties) so I could plug in my Garmin GPS or portable CB and remove it easily enough.  I connected them directly to the battery, ran a pig tail off the battery and connected both to them using wirenuts and tape.  Run the wires out of the way and I did install one in line fuse for both.  All has worked well for 2 years.   Did similar installs on my VTX.
