I had seen this in the picture gallery. Does anyone know how they mounted these, the Jardine website does not specify the Valk as a model that their forward controls support.

I've got a set of Kuryakyn highway pegs set so they are out just forward of and slightly beneath the engine guards, which puts them in the perfect spot for my 36" inseam. I was wondering the other day if there might be a way to fab forward controls up that far but I could certainly live with the Jardines. My only real negative regarding the Valk is the position of the stock pegs. The first few times I rode it (after being so accustomed to the feet forward position of my ACE) it felt like my legs were folded up under me. I got the highway pegs adjusted out and I'm pretty used to the stock position now so it's a minor thing but it would be nice to put forward controls on my gurl.

I rode forward controls on the CHP Motors, but damn, I don't think I could get my legs that far apart and my feet that far forward at the same time.    I only have like a 30" inseam.

Guess I'll stick with my kickshifter and Cobra floorboards.

Here is a post on who has them.

When I first learned about Frank Smoak's forward controls back around 2007,
I googled all over for them... I found hits for the Jardine ones, but they were
unobtainium even back then.

Frank had BBT (http://www.bigbikethings.com/NewProducts.html) forward controls anyhow,
that's what I ended up getting... the bbt website seems to indicate they are available,
they were out of stock for a while.

The Jardine ones look pretty awesome, bling wise, but it looks like they move your
controls forward... the bbt controls cause you to have controls at your hiway pegs,
and retain the original controls at the normal footpegs...

I like 'em! They're a little pricey but I'll work that out. They are actually in the perfect position for my leg length. Thanks!

Looks like they retrofitted diamond tread aluminum sheet metal to hold the controls. I can't tell if its the stock foot peg holder its attached to from the pictures, it seems to be the correct shape but maybe painted gloss black. I suppose it makes you wonder about fabricating a piece of polished aluminum using the stock subframe holes to relocate support to where the Jardine forward controls require...
