Oh come on Clark, T-a-u-m-a-r-u-n-u-i, Taumarunui is how you pronounce it.

What I would like to know is if all of the driveways look like the drive his bikes are sitting on? It looks like mowing grass might be quite a job down there.

Grass is easy to mow...you just get the sheep and cows from the next paddock..LOL. We have about 20 acres that back on to a river called the Wanganui..Pronounced Fong....gar...nu..ee. Our little town...about 5000 people is Taumarunui Pronounced Tam..a..ra..nu..ee.
We are in the central North Island a little bit North of Mt Ruapehu. Its true farming country, very green, mostly good weather although our winters do get cold and wet but you can still ride.
Nice quiet roads round here with lots of good riding. Photo is of Mt Ruapehu which is about 50 Km's South.
