This is the 1997 STD that I bought and sold last year.  I have not done this one before... and I sold it to a friend.  I told him I'd help him do it.

Today is the day...

I'll let everyone know what I find in there.

This one was packed with grease, hard to get apart, and had no damage.  the oil passages were totally clogged, and we cleaned everything up, moly lubed it and put her back together.

Also changed the final drive oil.

I won't tear mine apart till after turkey season.
