I really like that look of the shorty.  cooldude  Wish I could get one, but I don't think it would work for me with the amount of 70-80 mph highway riding I do...maybe I'm a whimp?!?!

I wouldn't say wimp at all.  coolsmiley I cut down a stock windshield on my I/S to about 8 or 9 inches and realized in less than 50 miles I ain't in my late teens early 20s no more.  crazy2 I do NOT care for that wind blast at highway(70 80 M P H)speeds any more.  Undecided Just another sign of me getting a little older.  cooldude And I had a new to me stock height W/S to put back on.  Cool So no-you ain't wimpin out in the least.  Grin RIDE SAFE.

Ditto on the looks really cool but not functional at highway speeds especially for the passenger. I had one on for one weekend ride and took it off. I went with a dark tint that is two inches shorter than stock from Cee Bailey and couldn't be happier. It puts the wind just over my helmet and still looks good on the bike, I would recommend trying this first and then if you think shorter is still something you want then you can always cut it down. If you get the shorty first and don't like it then its buy another one. (words of experience).

That's Rude Dog's bike, he's a member here.  Doesn't post much, but he's got a unique and beautiful Interstate.

I had that shield for awhile, loved it and loved the look, but my wife didnt like all the wind on her. Said she couldnt keep her sunglasses on so I ordered the next size up and now we are both happy.

I put one on mine for about 1/2 day and hated it. It's worse than nothing at all, I went with the 2" below stock from Cee Bailey and it works good up to about 75-80 them it's a little windy unless you slump down a bit...  Cool
