Well if you missed April's get together you missed a great time at Grandma Dave's and Pam's house! 2funny We didn't do a lot of wrenching, but we ate darn good cooldude and had a great time of socialization, cause some of us never tell lies!  Roll Eyes

So......... May is rapidly approaching, we did not set a meeting location, yet! ??? I was gonna chose a "centrally located" location, but I have been told my sense of "centrally located" is a bit left? Roll Eyes Huh? Anyway..... I have an offer to set up a get together in the eastern sector of Kansas Cool, but we did that this month. I would really like to get this moved around the state a bit 1) to get everyone a chance to attend, Wink 2) to see and enjoy more of our state.  cooldude We all have those hole in the wall locations with a great eating place Evil, or an interesting site to explore Cool(it does not always have to be about eating, did I just say that!)  2funny

Let me hear from you, where you would like to ride, we do, do that occasionally! Still looking at the third Saturday of the month, May 18th. I know it is a busy time for graduates and so forth, we understand that, heck bring them along! Pomp and Stance is so over rated anyway! Evil I will set the location by May 4th! So chime in, otherwise it may be my "Centrally Located Location", I wonder what is in St. Francis, Ks. Shocked Roll Eyes I'll show you left! Grin

I wonder what is in St. Francis, Ks.

They have full function shower facilities and allow free tent camping in the city park.

They have a Dairy Queen.

Thank you Willow for some insight cooldude, I suspect if we do St. Francis the tent camping may be a needed option! 2funny  Wonder if Grandma Dave has been to that DQ?  ???

If we got that far West I think we'd have to just keep going and turn it into a trip to the mountains.

Beijing Bistro in Eldorado was really good. And for those that don't like chinese food they serve a mean burger.

That was outstanding Dave!  cooldude Good suggestion and very tempting, that burger Gary had looked outstanding as well.

Here's what I am thinking, two new places and three good old spots.

Lumber Yard Steakhouse, Zenda

Burns Cafe and Bakery, Burns

Bejini Bristro, El Dorado

Made from Scratch, Wilson

160 Cafe, Burden

Let me know voting ends 6pm tomorrow! coolsmiley

Thanks for your vote, suggestion, opinion Dave! Bejini Bristo in El Dorado is it!! I was leaning towards Burns but since I got called to work, I did not get a chance to check out their hours yet. So we will try that if we can at another date.

Dalen, if you come up good stuff like this in the future you might mention it here.  I bet there's some place to eat in Marquette and you'd have had some good Valkyrie company this weekend.

* Also, if I wasn't so far away (there's only one Kansas town southwest of me right now) I'd join you in Marquette for breakfast then head to El Dorado for lunch Smiley

I did not realize it was the same weekend, I am going to try to do lunch with you guys, but i have several friends coming in from out of town to do marquette, so who knows what we would end up doing today.

I know there is a Valk in garden city, in the 1000 block of north first street, an all white interstate.  My grandmother lives across the street.... you dont see many all white ones.
