Can anyone advise me to the generic size of the kick stand  bolt that the  top of the spring hooks to? I neglected to order one when I ordered the spring. Also need the stationary bolt, it snapped off. Will have to retap the threads on the frame, I suppose.   Hoser

No need to retap the hole. The broken stud has a nut on the top side which will remove easily.
