Hey guys, anyone with an Ultimate Bigboy seat in Central Jersey (or close by)?

I'm by the Jersey Shore (exit 116 off GSP) and am looking to order the Ultimate Big Boy seat (full set).

Hate to think about dropping over a grand on something I have never sat in.

If you're close by, I would be very appreciative if i could sit my "behind" on your seat and see how it fits - before I order.

Thanks in advance

You'll have better luck posting your request on the general board, which is where this non-tech-related topic should be anyway.

Kyllini FYI, last December and January UltimateS were 20% off. If you can wait they may do this again. Whatever, your looking at the right seat system IMO.  cooldude

Casabroker - I heard good things about them & they look great, but still not sure. Lot's of money for vinyl (non-leather) seats.

Rude Dog - thanks for the offer. Long ride down there but will consider it  (BTW great looking bike).

Salty1 - I checked on this and was told that the 20% discount was for their 10th anniversary and they have no plans on doing this again. That's too bad because these seats are pretty expensive. I'm still on the fence about this.

Luckily, I bought my bike with the seat on it.  But after having this seat and experiencing a sore ass from others on other bikes I've owned.  I would probably save up and get another Ultimate.  It's so huge to be comfortable on long rides which I do.  A sore burning ass isn't worth it if possible.  It work for me for sure.  i do have the backrest too which helps alot....

Hey Kellini,
Just do it! My first Valk had a Mustang on it when I bought it.. I sold that on ebay after buying a much nicer Ultimate setup! So some of the money was recouped.  My new Interstate has a factory seat.. I just ordered the Ultimate all over again.  BTW.. I opted to not have them put their logo on it.. and use silver/ grey thread.. there are all kinds of things that you can do to personalize your ride!  you actually sit a touch lower than on the mustang or stock and the seat comes up in front of you so you are kinda anchored in and don't slide forward when braking..  Plus your ass will be a lot cooler!!  It's so much better!  No need for an air hawk..  you can just ride and ride!  It's a grand well spent!  But beware.. I had those speed lacer things on the top of my RedWing boots and it snagged my backrest while throwing my leg over.  It took a tiny little nip out of the vinyl..
I hope my new seat comes before the weekend!!
Hey if it does... ?  I might be taking a ride down by you on Saturday for The Roar to the Shore for Hurricane Sandy thing!   Are you gonna go?
